Initially, this liberty-style detached house was the summer annex of a very popular disco: people came from all corners of Italy to spend a night at the Picchio Rosso.
Often came famous people, sometimes it turned into a movie set, the Saturday night fever ...
Today, with a bit of creativity and enterprise, the detached house has been renovated and transformed into a place for shops and offices.
Now, when you see it at dusk, you think of its past: it appears in its glory, and its turret overlooks you at the entrance of the village.
Lights makes it look like larger than what it really is, it seems like it almost puffs up and says "once I was famous and beautiful, but now I get along in spite of my age..."
